Today I really struggled with what I should do with my day, my time and ultimately my life. Lol...right? It was a tug-of-war of either making a power move to prove my level of intellect and will or humbling myself, becoming centered within, and making decisions that would inevitably push me in the way of purpose and destiny. Well, I chose humility coupled with destiny.
Before I stepped into 2017, I had already purposed in my heart not to entertain 2016's chaos, confusion or dysfunction. If I chose to make a power move and busy myself, which excluded direction and instructions from the Holy Spirit, I would appear to be making progression temporarily but not progression that would benefit me in the long run. You see, for the past two years I invested time, energy and space to proving to others that I was capable of doing what God called me to do, instead of just letting it flow naturally out of me. I was always on guard, always in "I can do this mode", always feeling the pressure from my opposers, both naturally and spiritually.
Let me tell you something, "The devil will not let you possess the linear without opposition. His objective is to distract you at all cost. He will even rise up in the hearts of those closes to you to hinder your faith and progression toward destiny. Satan hates steps, especially steps in the right direction. Be careful of snares and pitfalls along the way, whispers and voices uttering negativity, set to make you second guess what God said about you and where He's taking you.
We all struggle with what decisions to make. Do I make a decision in my flesh that will temporarily feel good but corrupt my destiny and ability to make sound decisions? Or do I bite my tongue, exercise good manners and let God fight for me? I buckled down and used the good sense the good Lord gave me. You will to, if you have good sense. Amen.
Besides, I did not need to work out in this cold weather. I am still trying to get over a cold I caught. So what did I do? I used good sense and dropped my children off at my parents house and headed to the coffee shop and had me a coffee (grande) and a nice warm apple fritter. Mm...
Choosing the will of God over what I want or how challenges dare me to react to people, places and things, is always worth it. I can truly say that earlier, my thoughts were on a race track with the intent to take first place, but now, I am on cruise control and don't mind a road trip. The Holy Spirit has a way of slowing you down and bringing centergy to your life. That's right centergy not synergy. Centergy is when the Holy Spirit steps into the center of your life, takes your life by the ropes and causes it to rotate in a clockwise rotation.
I can truly say, I'm good. He had to pull me out of last years tsunami of events and say to me, "No, you're not going back to that chaos of a life." Cycles are nothing more than repeated steps. I nor you can afford to repeat another cycle. BREAK THE CYCLE AND INVEST IN CENTERGY. Amen.
Our 2017 and beyond will be filled with hope, vibrancy and centergy, in Jesus name. I tell you, God sure knows how to encourage you. Last night on January 26, 2017, Mama Ward, sent me a text and it absolutely blessed me. It said, "HE gives power to the faint and those with no might HE increases their strength. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and neither has it entered the heart of man the things that God has planned for you, because you love HIM. You are a blessing!"
Wow!!! Does God know how to encourage you or does God know how to encourage you? When I say I've been in a war, I mean it. It has been a true battle between defeat and destiny; Rashea and her enemy. BUT GOD!!! Shout!!!
(Tears. Mouth to the floor. A puddle of tears. Moved with heart felt gratitude.)
As I wrote this last sentence, "I heard the Holy Spirit say, "THIS IS A LINEAR MOVE." Hold up; wait a minute. Linear. What's that?
Linear signifies straight, direct, undeviating, sequential; steps in sequence or one after another. Linear is also arranged in or extending along a straight or nearly straight line. Straight conveys extending or moving uniformly in one direction only; without a curve or bend; straight-level, even, aligned, upright, orderly, neat, honest, truthful, sincere, straightforward, plain-spoken, clear, sound, undiluted, pure, respectable; old-fashioned, right. Line is a course, route, track, path, way, run illustration or portrait.
So what was God saying to me???
I'm telling you, today, I took the time to pray this afternoon, and invite the Holy Spirit into my day, that HE would guide my steps and instruct me along the way, and by this evening, HE spoke to me and said, This was a linear move." In other words, me allowing HIM to lead me to the coffee shop and spending time with GOD THE FATHER was pleasing to the FATHER, and the Holy Spirit was conveying GOD'S approval of my linear actions to slow down, and not react to the battle, but, instead, respond to GOD as my priority coupled with prayer and worship unto the HIM.
The Bible says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by God and HE delights in his way (Psalm 37:23)." God wants to be the God of our steps as well as our lives. Ask Him to arrange your steps that will ultimately draw you closer to not only the fulfillment of your purpose but to HIM. Get closer to the GOD that designed your purpose, for HIS purpose on purpose, and in doing so, HE will push you closer to the fulfillment of your purpose through linear motion.
Isn't that Good News? Yes, that's great news!!!
